With the Pendik Water Sports Island Project, it was aimed to create new opportunities for the region, to create new activity areas that will improve coastal usage of the region, to strengthen the relationship of the city and the citizen with water.

It is a project with environmental objectives, which provides community benefits, provides efficient and alternative transportation solutions, improves the surrounding watershed habitat, minimizes car usage and encourages public transportation, uses sustainable innovative practices and technologies, and utilizes local materials and resources.

With the realization of the project, regional tourism will develop and grow, new job opportunities will be provided and the welfare level of the region will increase. This project, which has a low maintenance and operating cost, also has economic objectives that encourage new investments.
