ADIYAMAN-BESNI-GOLBASI WATER TRANSMISSION LINE DESIGN

The project is for meeting the drinking water needs of the province of Adıyaman with the water to be taken from the Erkenek water source and the drinking water demands of the Besni and Gölbaşı Districts, Harmanlı, Balkar, Belören and Suvarlı Towns and the villages located on the transmission line route. With the completion of the project, many settlements experiencing water shortage along the transmission line route, providing water from underground sources with pumps at high costs, and water tanks designed considering future city planning will provide drinking water with sufficient capacity without the need for energy.

Due to the topography of the project route, steel pipes with diameters ranging from Ø65 to Ø800 resistant to high pressures were preferred in all lines. For this reason, pressure breaker systems have been designed at all water tank entrances. Survey and mapping, expropriation and geological-geotechnical survey services were provided within the scope of the project also.
